A lovely part about language learning is when you can begin to understand so much more and say what you want to say however broken it maybe. To do this with Filippo is really satisfying, he makes me feel like I am making some real progress! Absolutely recommend him as a language tutor.

Filippo is hands-down the best language instructor I've ever had, across any language. I've now had several classes with him and every one is engaging and perfectly tailored to me. He chooses very interesting topics and dialogues that sound like real conversation, rather than sticking to dry textbook exercises. Nothing feels rote or boring. Instead, I end up speaking naturally and learning a lot a long the way. I'm progressing faster than I thought possible, and I'm always looking forward to the next lesson! I was nervous about speaking Italian at first, but Filippo has made the learning process feel much more comfortable and encouraging. His lessons are engaging, well guided, and focused on real communication instead of just memorization. I really enjoy the fact that Filippo remains totally engaged and gives me time to search my brain for lost words, when I need them!! He is a superb tutor with whom you can really relax, which makes speaking so much easier.
