Hallo! Ik ben Anouk, een geboren en getogen Nederlandse uit Amsterdam. Tegenwoordig geniet ik van de Spaanse zon terwijl ik studenten help om met zelfvertrouwen Nederlands te leren.
Als taalleerder zelf (¡Hola, español!) begrijp ik heel goed hoe frustrerend het kan zijn als je midden in een gesprek blokkeert of twijfelt of vloeiendheid wel mogelijk is. Spoiler: dat is het!
Mijn specialiteit? Die “ik kan het niet”-momenten omtoveren tot “Ik kan het!” met praktische, levendige lessen die geworteld zijn in het echte Nederlandse leven en de cultuur.
Met mij kun je gesprekken voeren over van alles: van toestemming vragen aan je partner om te gaan vintage shoppen, tot bergen beklimmen in Peru,عني كمعلّم
I’ve been teaching for two years, and before Dutch, I taught soft skills and led energizers to help professionals speak, open up, and develop themselves.
That’s exactly how I’ll teach you Dutch too.
The lessons are based on your interests and goals, and I believe language is fluid, so we will find more than one way of saying something.

My lessons are diverse, but all of them include you speaking from day one.
We start each lesson with a short catch-up, so you’re learning how to talk about practical everyday things, like going to a party, feeling ill, or running errands.
Grammar lessons are interactive and to the point: it's never long before we’re actually using that grammar in a conversation.
We practice real situations:
• ordering a kroket from the wall
• cursing on a bike
• introducing yourself at work, even if you only know five words
After a few lessons, you can do these, talk to connect to Dutchies and ask simple questions.

Anouk is a great teacher. She was very warm and friendly and set a chill and comfortable place to learn. The conversation flowed and I found I was really able to use my Dutch and express myself in the lesson. I would recommend!

Anouk is a FABULOUS teacher!
She was energetic, positive, and patient letting the lesson unfold naturally to my very beginner skill level.
She totally gets that language is different for everyone and thus requires customization to each person’s learning preference, confidence, and goals. She noticed I struggled with a few letter combinations so we practiced just those for a few mins and then basic words using those combinations, with an emphasis on “g” and “ui” sounds.
Then she gave me recommendations for online places to learn and Spotify podcasts so I can train in between our lessons.
Looking forward to more time with Anouk!!

Anouk is an incredibly energetic and positive person. She notices mistakes during conversations and corrects them in a very natural and helpful way, without interrupting the flow. You can talk to her about absolutely any topic, and she always keeps the conversation engaging. Most importantly, she is patient and genuinely listens to your clumsy attempts to speak Dutch, which makes you feel comfortable and confident. Learning with her is both effective and enjoyable!
