Hi! I’m a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan, now based in New York. I’m so excited to teach you about my culture, Taiwanese traditions, and making friends! I’m passionate about helping students learn Mandarin in a way that feels natural, practical, and actually fun. I also enjoy sharing little cultural details—like what locals actually say vs. what textbooks think we say—so you get the real, everyday Chinese experience. As a teacher, I’m patient, encouraging, and focused on making you feel comfortable speaking from day one. I believe the best way to learn Chinese is through real conversation, not just memorizing vocabulary, so I create a relaxed and interactive environment where you can practice naturally. I tailor each lesson to your goals—whether you want to travel, connect with people, or simply build confidence step by step. I’ll guide you clearly, correct you gently, and keep things engaging so learning never feels overwhelming. My goal is simple: help you actually use Chinese in real life—and maybe even enjoy the process a little more than you expected.
