🇰🇷Hello! I’m Claire, your guide for an incredible Korean Journey✨ For 7 years, I traveled the world as a Cabin Crew based in Korea and Hong Kong ✈️. Connecting with people from countless nationalities taught me how to communicate from the heart. 🕊️ Having lived in Sydney and worked abroad for over 7 years, I’ve gained a broad perspective and a deep understanding of different cultures. These experiences allow me to approach teaching with an open mind. 🌏 ☕ I combine the professionalism of my aviation background with the warmth of a close friend. My goal is to help you speak Korean naturally and confidently in a relaxed, "coffee-chat" atmosphere. 🌿 See you in class!🚀 - Experienced Language Educator with a background in English tutoring - B.A. in Korean Language Education (In Progress) - Completed Korean Language Teacher Training Course - Passed the 2025 TOTKA (Test of Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language) Written Exam My teaching style is highly flexible and centered around learners. I use my own handcrafted materials, uniquely designed to match my students' personal interests and goals, embodying a 'casual yet elegant' approach to learning. My lessons will cover everything from essential daily expressions and casual 'Banmal' to the professional service etiquette and business manners I mastered while training at a top-tier airlines. I will help speak Korean that is not only natural for everyday life but also polished and sophisticated for any professional setting.

I've had multiple lessons with Claire now and I feel like I've made so much progress in my Korean learning! Claire is always so encouraging and warm, and I have gained so much more confidence speaking in class as she always listens so patiently and provides helpful suggestions on how to improve my sentences and expressions. Claire provides customised materials that revises concepts/vocabulary covered in previous classes and also introduces new and interesting topics. I always look forward to my next class and would highly recommend her lessons to anyone!

Claire is a wonderful teacher! As someone who has always struggled with learning new languages and finds practicing in front of people frightening, Claire manages to keep me completely at ease throughout all of our lessons! She is extremely patient, encouraging, and thoughtfully plans out each lesson with customized powerpoints accompanied with textbook exercises to work towards your individual learning goals. I've been doing lessons for about a month now and can't wait to keep going!

Claire is such a warm and engaging teacher and I learn so much in all of our classes! Claire always gives me plenty of encouragement to use Korean in our conversations, and provides helpful corrections/suggestions that we go on to revise in future classes. It is so helpful learning not only about correct grammar/vocabulary, but also about colloquial manners of speech. Claire is an excellent teacher and I would definitely recommend her classes!

Another terrific lesson with Claire! I really appreciate the learning materials that Claire prepares for our class, which includes reviewing previously-taught grammar/vocabulary, as well as introducing new level-appropriate conversation topics. Claire's lessons are a great mix of structured learning (following a textbook) and having the flexibility to utilise new grammatical concepts and vocabulary in (stress-free!) conversations.
