Hello! I’m Luis Arturo, a Mexican linguist with a master’s degree in Hispanic Linguistics. I have over seven years of experience teaching Spanish to adults and children of all levels, in both private and group classes. I’m passionate about teaching and always aim to create a friendly, supportive environment where you feel comfortable and motivated to learn. My classes are conversational and tailored to your needs. In each lesson, we focus on a specific area—such as grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation—and then practice it through guided conversation, so you can use Spanish naturally and with confidence. Cuento con una Maestría en Lingüística Hispánica y me especializo en entender y explicar cómo funciona la lengua española. Tengo más de cuatro años de experiencia impartiendo clases privadas y grupales para niños, jóvenes y adultos de todos los niveles. Realmente disfruto dar clases de español e intento que mis estudiantes no solo aprendan sino que también pasen un momento agradable. Mis clases tienen un enfoque comunicativo y siempre las preparo de acuerdo con tus necesidades. En general, suelo revisar un tema específico del español (gramática, vocabulario, pronunciación) junto con mis estudiantes y después lo repasamos mediante ejercicios conversacionales.

Luis is a knowledgeable linguist and a great teacher. I have been taking lessons with him twice a week for over a year, and have improved to the point where our classes are now almost entirely in Spanish. He is easy to talk with, and corrects my mistakes clearly and patiently. Luis offers a variety of instructional materials, and tailors both lessons and homework to my interests. He is a professional, always polite and on time. I highly recommend Luis as your Spanish teacher.
