This is Amy from Hong Kong and I teach Cantonese! 說普通話/國語/華語的朋友, 想學香港地道廣東話的話, 你找對人了! :) About me: - Born & raised in HK. Cantonese is my mother tongue. - English degree. Speak fluent English and Mandarin. - Language enthusiast! Been learning Spanish and Korean for a while. - FUN! (I like to teach HK local slangs because most of them are created with our unique sense of humour.) - I know the most efficient way to learn languages (because I've been a language student as well!) - Materials and notes are provided in the lessons Drop me a message if you have any questions before booking!

- Able to explain grammar and word usage clearly - Able to point out your mistakes in grammar and pronunciation and tell you how to correct them (with knowledge in English IPA and linguistics, as well as first hand experience in facing the same problems learning other languages) - 重點教普通話/國語和廣東話用詞﹑文法和發音上的分別, 讓你學得更快!

- 附有專門以中文教授廣東話的書籍, 針對廣普分別, 學得更快 - I encourage students to speak Chinese ONLY as much as they can because it is the most effective way to learn. - Course materials and notes will be provided - Don't worry about having nothing to talk about in the conversational lessons! I'm easy to chitchat with! - You can always give me feedback so we can adjust our lessons to suit you better. Feel free to let me know what is the best way to learn for you. If you do not know yet, I will help you find out!

I've been studying with Amy Cantonese for one month now, and I only have good words to describe our classes. I'm learning a lot in every class. The classes are really fun, well-structured and organised, motivating me to keep studying. I like that she helps me a lot with my pronunciation and teaches me a lot of vocabulary. Amy very clearly cares about her students' understanding of the language! She often gives insight into mistakes that learners often make + gives tips about how Cantonese is actually spoken by locals, beyond what textbooks suggest. She's a very funny teacher and I recommend her.
