I have really valued my lessons with Joanna! Joanna has a tremendous sense of quickly gauging my skill level, developing programming uniquely catered to my personal skillset. Joanna is resourceful and thoughtful, especially when it comes to adapting lessons to my strengths and weaknesses. my first lesson with Joanna was really good! she came to the lesson very prepared and sent me a summary of everything we learned so I can review it later. I enjoyed talking to her and found her methods to be very easy to understand and suitable for my needs. I am buying a package now and I have a feeling it won't be the last one :)

This was my very first trial lesson with Joanna! I really enjoyed her style of teaching me the first initial sounds of pinyin. We went through the pronunciation chart and practiced together the four tones for various letters. She is so encouraging, thoughtful, patient, and she corrects you so that you can say the sounds perfectly. She has a great sense of humor, and I can tell that she is passionate about teaching. I truly believe that I could learn a lot in her classes. Thank you so much!

Joanna is a wonderful teacher who encourages and pushes her students by providing examples and then asking relevant questions. When approaching a study material (like a textbook chapter) in class together, she is great at guiding your attention and correcting your mistakes without interrupting you. I always leave our lessons feeling positive and satisfied. Highly recommend!
