I am a teacher with a bachelors in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, which sets me apart from casual tutors you find on italki. Also, I’ve taught over 6000 lessons on italki, which makes me one of the most experienced teachers on the platform. The prices of classes are at a discounted rate (30%) right now, because I took a long break from teaching. ➡️Test preparation : Practice on HSK/HSKK Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading questions, with thorough explanation of grammar.
➡️Structured Classes - Conversational dialogues with grammar structures embedded into them, to ensure students are learning the language in the most natural way. Role play practice will be done after each dialogue to ensure full understanding.

I have had many teachers on Italki (and in real life), and Audrey Ma is one of the best. She always comes prepared with topics, materials, and even textbooks. She makes herself available outside of class to go over my homework or answer questions. During class, she is warm, engaging, and so so helpful in explaining Chinese grammar and vocabulary. Our lessons fly by because they are so fun! I can’t recommend Audrey as a teacher more, and I love learning Chinese with her! I have already studied with her for 3 years and hope to for many more :)

My 9 year old son has been taking Chinese lessons with Teacher Ma for about a month now and his vocabulary is growing really fast. She is a very patient teacher and makes sure to use vocabulary that is relevant and useful. She is also very good at making sure that his pronounciation is correct and knows how to keep him on task. I am confident that he can acquire great language skills this way.

When it comes to learning a foreign language, the teacher can really make the difference. Teacher Andrey helped me to improve my Chinese so that I could take part of the HSKK exam. Audrey Ma is the best Chinese teacher I have ever had in my 6 years of learning. The classes are challenging but she is always patient and humorous. She gives good feedback and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. She also gives examples, and her English is very clear and understandable (which is always necessary for beginner learners I feel). The classes are always very interactive, involving reading from the textbook, making sentences out of vocabulary, and reading stories. Would definitely recommend!
