Hello, I am Julia. I am a Chinese native speaker from Taiwan. I work as a liaison between a major Japanese company and its Taiwanese office, and I spend a large portion of my time at work translating and interpreting between English, Chinese, and Japanese. I have lived and studied in Canada, and I will be able to use either English or Japanese to answer your questions if necessary. As a language learner myself I understand the problems you may face when learning a foreign language in terms of grammar, word choice, pronunciation and intonation. 皆さん、こんにちは。ジュリアです。台湾出身の中国語のネイティブスピーカーです。カナダに留学したことがあり、現在日本企業で働いていますので、英語と日本語を流暢に話せます。仕事上、中国語、日本語、英語を使って通訳・翻訳する必要があるため、常に言語能力を向上させるために取り組んでいます。そのため、皆さんが外国語を勉強する時に直面する文法、言葉選び、発音、イントネーションに関する問題についてよく理解しています。言語学習の経験を生かして皆さんの中国語の勉強に役立てれば幸いです。皆さんとお話できるのを楽しみにしています。よろしくお願いします。 دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
For upper-intermediate and advanced students, my lessons will mostly consist of open conversation interspersed with feedback and corrections. I will write down your mistakes and words of interest, send them to you and talk about them during pauses in the conversation.
For beginning and early-intermediate students, I offer more structure, and will give you learning materials tailored to your needs. We will learn basic phrases and practice using them through role-playing. I am a patient and careful listener, and will give you ample opportunities to practice your Chinese.
I am also very happy to help you work on your written Chinese, and can help you edit emails, journals, and short essays.5.0

Julia is the best. I've been studying with her for three years and I am able to have pretty complex conversations with her in Mandarin. She is kind and funny, and I am so grateful to her for her patience and good humor. I could not have hoped for a better teacher, and I look forward to many more chats. Thank you, Julia!!!

I started taking Julia's classes at the end of November 2021. At times I was taking her classes daily up to two hours and after over a year, I am still taking her classes regularly. We have done so many things together: grammar & workbook, translation (Jp → Ch), text correction, serious conversations as well as funny gossiping. As a teacher, she is amazingly professional and helpful, as a person, she has such a lovely personality. Spending more than a year with her made me realize that she is not only a language teacher but also a dear friend, whom I admire and respect.
2021年11月末に初めてJulia先生のレッスンを受けさせていただいてから、もう一年以上が経ちました。何ヶ月にも渡り、ほぼ毎日、日によっては二時間中国語を教えてもらいました。今でも定期的にレッスンの予定を入れています。今まで本当に色んな事を一緒にして来ました：文法＆教科書、翻訳（日本語→中国語）、短文の修正、複雑な会話や面白い世間話。Julia先生は先生としては無論プロ級、一人の人間としては本当に尊敬できる存在だと常に思っています。Julia先生と一緒に過ごした時間、中国語の先生としてだけではなく大事な友達としても、本当に尊敬と感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
