My name is Timothy. I majored in Arabic language at the University of Amsterdam. I have lived in few countries and learned a lot about different languages and cultures. I have been teaching Dutch professionally for five years now. I have made many videos on YouTube of which many have reached 100k+ views and a few even 1m+ views.
I enjoy discovering new hobbies and learning new things. I like to drink coffee and talk with friends, read about a variety of topics and walk in the city.

I want my students to feel comfortable during our lessons. I enjoy challenging them, but never with too much pressure, and I always give them time to think about their answers. I love listening to their personal stories, and nothing makes me prouder than seeing their progress.

Timothy is a great teacher, very knowledgeable, friendly, and always makes you feel at ease. He’s super motivated and his lessons are never boring! I’ve just finished level A1 with him, and it went really well. He explains everything clearly and keeps the atmosphere relaxed and positive, which makes learning Dutch much easier and more enjoyable.
