Another great lesson for conversation training by Ahmed. These Arabic conversation lessons are very important and beneficial in order to get used to speak and discuss and to also remember and re-use words that got lost in memory otherwise. :-)

A very helpful discussion working through simple sentences with small variations to practice speaking and communicating. The focus was on speaking, but we also practiced reading Arabic. Ahmed was patient and caring as he helped teach and correct my limited Arabic. I learned several simple, but helpful sentences in MSA by the end of the class. For those with a linguistics background, he used what is called the comprehensible input method with a communicative approach to teaching Arabic. The method used for the class was on thinking and speaking Arabic rather than translating texts from an Arabic textbook to your native language (grammar translate method).
