Hi I'm Marty, nice to meet you. I'm a native English speaker from London, England. I have gained over 13 years teaching experience since I came to China in 2011, and before that have had many varied careers and jobs throughout my life, including Zoo keeper, Chef, Antique Auctioneer, Butler and Hollywood film supporting actor. My hobbies are sports, animals and travel. Travel is probably my favorite passion, I have been abroad 64 times and been to 50 different countries, I love learning about new cultures and people. I enjoy teaching students of all ages, and have helped students from 6 to 75 years of age with conversational practice, pronunciation and fluency in speaking.عني كمعلّم
During my first six months in China I taught at an International school in the South of China, and then at a training school, High school and IELTS training center in the North of China. Since 2014 I have been teaching English at a University, where I primarily teach English majors. Whilst being experienced at teaching at all levels. I teach older students and adults. I teach kids reading classes online from 6 to 10 years old, contact me on Weixin ( Wechat ) martyengland. I can not teach kids on iTalki. I have a passion for ensuring the correct use of vocabulary and pronunciation to ensure a greater sense of accuracy and fluency when communicating in English.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Students have told me, my lessons are humorous, relaxed and informative, and effective in improving their English learning and communicating skills. I am a friendly, patient and encouraging teacher to my students young and old. Many students say their spoken English is poor because they don't have a chance to practice their spoken English with a native English speaker, so If you are wanting to improve yourself or your child's English through conversational practice or storybook reading as well as successful preparation and passing of the IELTS speaking test, practice with me!
