I'm a fully qualified Chinese teacher with qualifications in CTCSOL (Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) and PSC (National Proficiency Test of Mandarin).
After graduating from university in Guangzhou, I worked in Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Chengdu, and now I live in Dalian. I enjoy reading, cooking, and traveling, and I’m interested in the history and culture of different places.
Recently, I began to produce an English language podcast called "Sino-flare", which introduces Chinese culture. I hope it can help people understand China more comprehensively.

I’ve been working on italki for nearly five years. I’ve taught hundreds of students here, and I have become friends with many of them. I am interested in their lives and their studies or work, and we always have a great time in class.
I will provide all learning materials, including textbooks and slides, and recommend many websites and apps.
During our class, we will use Google Spreadsheet to record the words and sentences we have learned so that you can easily refer to it for review. We will also use this for a quiz in the following class.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
For general learners:
If your level is below HSK3, choose the Elementary Course.
If your level is above HSK3, choose the Intermediate or Higher Level Courses.
For learners with specific requirements:
If you are learning Chinese for business, choose the Commercial Chinese Course.
If you have other requirements, such as preparation for public speaking, interviews, and travel, choose the Advanced Freeform Course.

My journey with Stone has been a pleasure. He's willing to help correct essays and offer help both in and out of class--it's clear that he's invested in your entire learning experience, not just your in-lesson experience. He's good-natured and supportive, and will often refer back to things we've previously learned to help cement concepts. I'd recommend trying him out!

Stone is SO much fun. I always am laughing and learning at the same time. He sent me a document to keep record of simple phrases. He keeps me on track when I wander into a different topic, is very patient when I don't understand, tells me not to worry, and explains new words while telling stories. I highly recommend his class! Stone辅导教师把新词汇解释了，把东西出现了，告诉我“别担心” 和如果我逛逛到别的话题的话， 他吸引我回来。他总是给我一些例子。他说：“尽管问我吧！” 谢谢您老师！

Stone is an outstanding teacher. He is always on time, well-prepared, patient, engaging, and funny. The more lessons we have, the more I enjoy our conversations. He has a real talent for speaking Chinese to your level, which has really helped me build up my confidence in expressing myself.
