Hi! I'm a native Eastern Armenian speaker from Yerevan, Armenia. I adore both language learning and teaching! I have a Bachelor's degree in English Philology and Master's degree in Applied Linguistics. I have experience in teaching English in a language center, as well as teaching Armenian online. I can teach both absolute beginners and people with a high level of knowledge, improving their speaking, listening and vocabulary, grammar, etc. Besides the languages I teach, I also speak Spanish, Russian and a bit of Greek. As a learner I've always been impatient to start speaking the target language as soon as possible, which is the reason I've worked out fast courses.
Another important factor in learning a foreign language is the phenomenon of "bookish language". In my courses I provide the real language used among native speakers.
Another important thing to consider is finding a teacher with the right accent, as imitation is the first step in learning. Depending on the accent you'd like to learn, you should pay attention to the region your teacher comes from, each region may have its own accent. I am from Yerevan, my accent is the standard Armenian and I speak the Eastern dialect. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons are always planned according to the needs and abilities of my students. Also, I find it very important to make the lesson interesting and enjoyable, having an individual approach to each student. If one gets bored or tired during the lesson, they soon lose their interest and start thinking of anything else.For example, to improve the listening skills some learners are obliged to listen to some boring dialogues, not grabbing the whole meaning however they try. But if they start to listen to something they are interested in, their brain gets more active and starts to catch everything forgetting that it was meant to improve their certain skill, but just to know something interesting.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Liza is brilliant at her job. Her knowledge, positive energy and way of teaching take the learning experience to another level, delivering amazing results in no time. Teachers are not made, they are born, and Liza is definitely born to teach. I highly recommend her to everyone looking to learn Armenian! For me it's a no brainer.

Another Armenian great lesson with Liza! I really enjoy the format of her classes - I learn some key phrases and greetings so we can have a conversation going, then we get into that conversation, then we learn some vocabulary that we can then implement in the conversation to expand it AND then we also are able to cover some of the alphabet. Very efficient and methodical but fun and innovative at the same time. Seriously, I think she might be one of the best teachers on italki and I've done dozens and dozens of lessons with lots of people.

Liza is a professional who uses shortcuts and techniques to teach you more in one lesson than you would learn in three lessons with a normal teacher.

Definitely one of the best teachers I've had on italki. Armenian is not difficult (in my opinion) but it is quite different. But she makes learning it both fun and easy. Definitely recommend her!
