My name is Yasar Arafath and I am from Kerala. I am a Malayalam teacher in italki since Aug 01, 2016.
I teach my native language Malayalam.
I have a passion for languages and different cultures and enjoy interacting with people of all kinds of backgrounds.
I have met and taught students of all age groups and from all around the globe and many of them, I am happy to call (now) my friends.
I am convinced that I can help you make your learning experience enjoyable and productive.عني كمعلّم
I began my career as a school teacher in 2015. I teach Mathematics in school and Malayalam in italki. I have done my teacher's training course(B.Ed.) from the University of Calicut.
I am an experienced and patient teacher and I adapt my teaching methods according to your abilities and individual needs in order to ensure that you gain the most value from our lessons. Whether you need formal classes or just conversation practise, I am here to help you to achieve your goals.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons are well planed and well structured. I am very good at using different kind of teaching tools and technology to make my lessons better.
I pay special attention to pronunciation, the introduction of new vocabulary and the use of proverbs and sayings.
Depending on your individual wishes, I am happy to prepare study materials and assignments as long as you let me know ahead of time.

I just had my trial lesson with Yasar, and I had a great first impression about him.
He was very friendly, yet professional in his approach to teaching, and I really appreciated the fact that he had his own teaching materials and course guidelines.

I absolutely loved that Yasar had a plan for beginners despite only being a community teacher. Having gone through many trial lessons here on iTalki, he's one of the few that has made me feel confident in the outcome of future lessons! Can't wait to start learning Malayalam properly with Yasar.
