Soy una persona sociable, amante de la literatura y del arte de enseñar. Me gusta compartir y aprender de otras culturas. Respeto y amo a los animales y soy defensora del medio ambiente. Me encanta enseñar y conocer a personas interesadas en aprender Español. Tengo 40 años de experiencia impartiendo clases de Castellano y literatura a estudiantes jóvenes y adultos. Utilizo diversas herramientas que ayudan y motivan al estudiante a querer avanzar cada día hasta lograr una fluidez en el idioma. Trabajo con tres niveles y cada lección es personalizada de acuerdo al progreso del estudiante. La clase la divido en dos partes: media hora de gramática y media hora de expresión e interacción oral. Utilizo mucho material audiovisual.

I want to explain just what type of class or lesson this was. I already can carry on a basic conversation in Spanish and wanted to learn more about Venezuela as there is so much happening there. I went on italki and found Carmen and set up a time to meet with her today. I explained that I'd like an overview of Venezuela, the history, the economy, the political situation, and the different areas of interest there. I'm not sure if I've ever used the term, "blown away," but I understand its meaning. Well, today I was blown away by the presentation Carmen gave me. She came prepared with a slide type presentation complete with so many photos and information about her country. If you have any interest in the affairs of Venezuela and want to learn more about that country, then book a class with Carmen Montero. I can't imagine that you'd be disappointed. Don't wait. Do it now. To be honest, I was a bit sluggish, with low energy this morning, but Carmen's class energized me.
