Nobby - Nobuya

First time using Italki. Although I can't express myself well in Japanese and despite being a bit nervous I had a very good experience with Nobuya-san. He was relaxed and friendly, and that helped me. Thank you very much for the lesson.

Nobi sensei is an active listener and he listens with the intent of understanding the scenario that I am explaining, and asks, contributes and sometimes challenges what I am discussing so that I don’t only practice my conversations skills but to also to improve how I explain so I can be easily understood by native Japanese speaker.

Nobby has been amazing throughout my classes. I really recommend picking him as your teacher, regardless of your current level.

I honestly can’t count how many lessons I’ve had with Nobby sensei anymore. Every class is engaging, thoughtful, and genuinely enjoyable. He’s smart, versatile, and always able to keep up with the challenging topics I bring. I especially appreciate how he balances comfort and challenge, so the conversations feel natural while still pushing me to grow. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my first class with Nobby. As someone who hasn't practiced Japanese for a very long time, he made sure his vocabulary adapted to my current level. He also made sure I was following the discussion and engaging in the proper way. I definitely recommend him as a teacher.
