Although it was aimed at teaching English, I learned a lot about teaching approaches, pedagogical techniques, and learning methods. I have been learning under Marina for the past couple of months and she is, hands down, one of the best Spanish teachers I've come across. The class has great pacing. Rather than just jumping into the main topic of the day, we do a kind of warmer to set the tone. And then we get to the "good stuff". She is balanced and efficient with her correction and feedback. She doesn't spend every second typing away when you make a mistake.
The materials she uses have been very helpful for me in terms of learning new information and reinforcing old things that we practiced in the past.
One thing that I really like is when we try a new approach. At the end of class, she will check for my feedback to see if the new approach was suitable and useful for me or if I want to try to learn in a different way. So, it's good that she wants to be aware of things from the student's perspective too. I highly recommend studying with her especially if you want a teacher who is kind and welcoming.

Es una reflexión después de haber tenido clases durante bastante tiempo. Me encanta tener clase con Marina, que siempre es tranquila y paciente. Me siento relajada al tener clase con ella. Además, su español me suena suave y bonito 😛 ¡Muchas gracias!
