I work mainly with adult learners and have taught 3,000+ lessons.
My goal is to help you feel comfortable while making real, steady progress in Italian.
Lessons are flexible and adapt to you. We can work on grammar, vocabulary, and accuracy, or focus on natural conversation to build fluency and confidence. Often, the best results come from a mix of both.
I focus on clear explanations, natural expression, and Italian as it is really spoken in everyday life.
Whether you’re learning Italian for work, relocation, travel, or personal interest, I adapt lessons to your goals and pace.

Ivan ist ein fantastischer Lehrer! Die Unterrichtsstunden sind sehr lehrreich und die Atmosphäre ist immer entspannt. Er schafft es, dass man sich traut zu sprechen, auch wenn man noch Fehler macht. Before going to Italy, Ivan taught me some useful words and sentences, ordering Italian food, customs tax refund, and hotel check-in are all very helpful. This time begins to learn grammar systematically again. After all, there are no shortcuts to learning a language.
