Hi everyone! My name is Charlie. I am a qualified teacher from the UK, with a neutral English accent.
I have been teaching English for over 30 years: in England and abroad (mainly in France and the French Caribbean). I have traveled in many countries including China, Brazil and most European countries.
I speak fluent French and am currently learning Mandarin Chinese - so I well understand the difficulties of language learning! :)
What I really love about teaching English is learning about other cultures and helping people change their lives, through communicating in a new language.
I have a bachelor’s degree in English and French, and a Cambridge University TESOL Diploma (350 hours).عني كمعلّم

My child Melody has been learning English with Charlie for more than half a year and during this time I have noticed that Melody has improved a lot. In terms of speaking, not only is she more confident and fluent, but she often gets full marks in her essays during school exams. Melody said that teacher Charlie's class was very informative, grammar and humanities, and very interesting. Teacher Charlie is also very responsible, and will leave Melody with homework for her to consolidate in each class. In short, choosing teacher Charlie was one of the best decisions I made.

Charlie is a highly professional and thoughtful teacher. The atmosphere during the lesson was friendly and relaxed, with clear explanations and useful corrections. At the end, Charlie provided detailed feedback and a full written summary of the mistakes, which was very helpful. His kind attitude and sense of humour made the lesson both enjoyable and productive.
