I consider my self very fortunate to have selected Amanda SHEN as my instructor. There are not enough superlatives to describe her teaching style and her personality as well. I greatly appreciate her advice and encouragement in this endeavor. I highly recommend her as your instructor to anyone considering studying Mandarin.

I had a really great lesson with Amanda! Because it was 七夕 day (Chinese Valentine's Day), she taught me all about the legend behind the holiday and we also discussed modern customs and culture surrounding 七夕 and compared them with Valentine's Day traditions in the US. It was a very engaging and fun conversation, 谢谢 Amanda 老师!

Amanda Shen is an excellent teacher, and her lessons are always challenging, interesting and fun. She makes learning the difficulty aspects of Chinese Mandarin enjoyable, and immediately understandable. I look forward to studying with her again in the very near future. 谢谢老师
