If you want to learn Korean from scratch, I can totally recommend Jian-Sseam. Classes feel very comfortable with her, it’s fun and motivating. Jian is incredibly patient when I forgot the meaning of a word. I can feel that my progress and our classes matter a lot to her. I don’t feel like any other student, she adapts to my personal level and learning speed. She also prepared a personal website where we both note down what I learned, progress, feedback, questions and homework. She has great material ready for learning. I seriously can’t imagine any better way to teach Korean than she does. Before I took her lessons, I only knew a few Korean words. Now I can read and write Hangeul, I learned about basic sentence structure and most important particles and expanded my vocabulary. Keep in mind: You must make sure to have some free time next to the actual classes as you will get homework and need to repeat grammar and vocabularies [usual business when learning a new language, though].

I really recommend you guys to choose teacher Jian as your Korean teacher. Before I studying with her, I had no idea about Korean at all. Thanks to her, now I have a basic understanding of pronunciation of this language. She is very patient and kind. She always courages me when I face to difficulties. Also, we have nice talks in the class about different cultures, which is very interesting. As for me, She is not only a teacher, but also a friend. ^_^

It was a very satisfactory and interesting class, the teacher was very concern explaining the phonetics of Korean language and how to do it correctly.

Nach nun 10 Stunden ist es an der Zeit eine Bewertung zu schreiben. Relativ spontan hatte ich beschlossen, Koreanisch zu lernen. Mein Vorwissen war absolut Null und deshalb haben wir mit Hangul begonnen. Ich bin auch jetzt noch weit vom flüssigen Lesen entfernt, aber es wird besser. Jian stellt eine grosse Menge an grossartigem Material zur Verfügung und so kann man die Zeit zwischen den Unterrichtsstunden zum individuellen Lernen nutzen. Das sollte man auch tun, den jede Stunde beginnt mit einer Wiederholung oder der Kontrolle der Hausaufgaben. Jian ist einfühlsam, geduldig und der Unterricht ist sehr professionell und strukturiert. Auf die korrekte Aussprache legt Jian viel Wert (mir fällt die Koreanische Aussprache noch recht schwer 😥) . Ihre zeitliche Flexibilität schätze ich sehr. Danke! Ich freue mich auf jede Stunde!

Man kann es nicht anders sagen. Jian, du bist zu meiner absoluten Lieblingslehrerin geworden. Jede Stunde macht Spaß und so fällt das lernen umso leichter. Das Material was zur Verfügung gestellt wird um zu üben und Hausaufgaben zu machen ist einfach super! Ich freue mich auf viele weitere und erfolgreiche Unterrichtsstunden.
