Hey, I’m Jonny from Brighton, England, TEFL-certified and keen,
With 12+ years helping adults make their English shine and glean.
By day I guide students to smash their language goals,
By night I spin lofi beats and rock ACDC rolls.

Currently in Italy, I’ve taught from China to Slovakia,

I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate and have over twelve years of teaching experience, including five years on Italki. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching children and adults in China, Spain, Slovakia, and Italy.
My lessons cover grammar, pronunciation, and conversation, for groups ranging from two to thirty students, as well as one-on-one sessions.
I became a teacher twelve years ago, seeking work that was more meaningful and rewarding. Before that, I traveled the world working in pubs and clubs, but found it unfulfilling.

A very nice experience. I took an mock IELTS speaking test with Jonny. I used to be quite nervous under the pressure. But this time Jonny helped me be relaxed, which was a real boost in my performance. Besides, I got some useful suggestions and found my week spot, which is the part2. Thanks to Jonny again for being such a nice, patient and encouraging teacher!
