Ciao! I’m Marco, a native Italian speaker and professional teacher from Milan. After living abroad for 8+ years — 6 in China — I’ve navigated the challenges of learning multiple languages myself, giving me a deep, first-hand understanding of the learner's journey.
I’ve taught thousands of Italian and English lessons for the past 10 years, specializing in intermediate Italian for English speakers. I’ll help you bridge the gap to fluency by fixing grammar hurdles and expanding your vocabulary through personalized sessions. Whether you’re preparing for a career move or a trip to Italy, we will focus on what you need most.

I specialize in intermediate Italian for English native speakers (I'm also a professional English teacher and that helps me understand the challenges you might face), but all levels and nationalities are welcome.

Always very helpful and informative. Marco has an strong understanding of English which really helps to correctly translate Italian expressions in the right context. With his very patient and helpful manner, the lessons are always enjoyable and my Italian has improved significantly as a result. Highly recommended!!!

Mark has it all. Apart from being a very experienced and proficient teacher, he's good humoured, quick witted and great at improvising in the moment. This leaves you feeling you're very much learning a language for the 'real world' as opposed to the stylised world of a formal language programme.
