Certified French and English teacher with TEFL and DAEFLE, I bring over 10 years of experience helping students master languages for academic, professional, and personal goals. I specialize in business English and French, test preparation, and document translation. My passion is sharing not just language, but culture—making learning practical, engaging, and relevant to your life. If you want to boost your skills and confidence, I’m here to guide you every step of the way! I am a passionate, resourceful, patiente and caring teacher whose goal is to introduce a language and culture, as well as to provide the necessary tools for comprehension and expression in an academic, personal, and/or professional context. The goal with my lesson structure is for the student to work at improving all 4 skills : reading, listening, writing and speaking. The most important one during the lessons is speaking. During the lessons we use google docs as a digital notebook and i send a variety of videos, articles, activities and books for a very complete learning experience.

She knows exactly what she’s doing. She gave an overview of how her lessons will look and what they’re intended to help you achieve, and after seeing it, I feel very confident with my journey to French being under her guidance! My first impression is that she seems to combine a formal systematic approach with a casual immersive approach, using each one at the right times. Personality-wise, she’s great! She’s definitely got that energy for teaching. I’m looking forward to our next lesson.

Kim is an excellent and resourceful French teacher who is both able to teach grammar in an effective way, and to facilitate interesting conversations. Short videos, texts and grammar explanations, as well as literary fragments, are part of the materials she uses. Really good!

I always look forward to my lessons with Kim. My French has improved tremendously since I began taking lessons with her. The homework is tailored to my needs and she often assigns homework and videos that align with my interests. She has all the traits that I look for in a tutor - engaging, approachable, and very knowledgeable.
