As a Cambridge CELTA-certified teacher, I specialize in helping students of all ages—from kids to professional adults—gain confidence in English. My own journey learning Spanish in Madrid taught me the power of patience and cultural connection, something I bring to every lesson. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me exploring London with my English bulldog, swapping book recommendations, or planning my next trip (Spain is a favorite!). Growing up in England and moving to Spain as a teenager has given me a first-hand account of what it is like to learn a new language. At first, I found it difficult to learn Spanish as a new kid in a new environment that was very different to England. Whilst I was there, I met the most amazing Spanish teacher who really helped me and was patient and kind. Over time, and with a lot of hard work, I was able to speak Spanish fluently and I still travel back to Spain a lot to see my parents. I have tried to do the same as this teacher did with my own students. I have a wide range of materials that cater for all levels. I have experience teaching adults, teenagers and children. I have material that is great for kids that has a clear syllabus and progression. We can talk through progress together and find out what your goals are with English. When your child is eagerly waiting for the next lesson, that’s the best proof that the teacher is doing their job from the heart. That’s exactly our experience with Oliver. My daughter Dominika always finishes her lessons with a smile, new words, and a bigger desire to speak English. He knows how to find the right balance between engaging topics, a positive atmosphere, and challenges that truly motivate.
