I am a language enthusiast and keen traveler based in Northern Italy. iTalki started as a side hustle, to support me in my medical studies, and it has become an incredibly rewarding job.
I am an open minded person and curious about anything, so I am sure we can find some common ground. When I'm not teaching, studying or working at the hospital, I love backpacking, hiking, cooking and baking, working out, and watching movies.عني كمعلّم
I have been a community tutor for 5 years. iTalki has become a happy place to connect to new people who are keen to learn just as much as I am, and I'm here to make learning fun and productive.
About my teaching methods and style:
- I'm a grammar defender: gentle corrections and practice are key to build a solid base and overcome that fear of making mistakes;
- I'm an excellent listener and am ready to listen to anything you feel like sharing;
- my classes can be as casual or structured as you want them to be;
- I can guarantee a flexible schedule.

Mi piace creare un ambiente amichevole e stimolante.
Per qualsiasi necessità (allenare la conversazione, prepararti per un esame, supportarti durante un "plateau") ti supporterò da dietro lo schermo (o con un caffè a Milano, se ti capita di essere in visita!).
Quando si approccia una nuova lingua è importante:
- avere una motivazione: raccontami la tua!
- essere costanti: sono sufficienti 15 minuti al giorno;
- rendere il processo coinvolgente e motivante.

It was a fantastic lesson and very enjoyable conversation. She is very knowledgeable, smart and fun. A great conversationalist that is very friendly. She would be a fantastic choice as an English teacher, her accent is neutral and clear and easy to understand.

As usual, Gloria did an excellent job with the lesson. She is always happy to work on whatever area I feel I need help and to adjust her class based on my needs. At the same time, she is always friendly and knowledgeable. Her relaxed manner helps our conversation practice go by quickly without forcing to find new subjects for the conversation. I’ve had many lessons with her and I look forward to many more.
