¡Hola! I’m Vero.
I’ve been teaching Spanish for over 7 years, and what still excites me most is connecting with people through language, culture, and real conversations.
Living in the U.S. for 6 years helped me understand how confusing Spanish can feel from the learner’s side. That experience shaped the way I teach today: with empathy, clarity, and a deep respect for adult learners.
I believe learning a language isn’t just about grammar. It’s about confidence, identity, and feeling comfortable expressing yourself.

I’m an ELE-certified teacher and an ADHDer myself 🤪, which means I know first-hand that traditional methods don’t work for everyone.
As a teacher, I’m supportive, clear, and structured—but never rigid. I create a safe space where mistakes are part of the process, not something to fear, and where progress feels realistic instead of overwhelming.
I work especially well with learners who:
get bored or blocked with traditional classes
need structure without pressure

Cognitive Grammar - Spanish Clasess Live - 2024Completion of the Cachito A1, B1 and B2 courses (30 hours each), focused on applying Cognitive Grammar to the Spanish Curriculum Plan (PCIC) of the Instituto Cervantes, according to CEFR standards. This certification required advanced training in communicative methodologies and the design of practical, level-appropriate activities. It enables me to teach Spanish life classes using Cognitive Grammar, helping students build a deeper, more intuitive understanding of Spanish from A1 to B2 levels.

Verónica is a great teacher. She is professional, friendly and patient. The material she created is very clear and useful. I learned a lot in only 10 lessons with her. I would recommend her "Spanish Trip" package to anyone learning Spanish.

Today we worked on the subjunctive and how the meaning of certain phrases changes when the subjunctive is used.
Veronica's ability to switch into English and explain complicated concepts or translate phrases into colloquial English (or back into Spanish) is a superpower. When I'm truly stuck, she instantly provides a lifeline in English and gets me back on track quickly.
In this class, we also mixed foundational grammar with current events and some realistic colloquial Spanish. The combination is excellent and super useful.
As always, the class was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to more.

Verónica is a brilliant teacher, very patient but with a lot of fun energy, and has a good way of focusing on areas of your Spanish ability that need the most attention based on how you speak with her.

Veronica is a great teacher - she brings so much energy to each class. She also makes you feel comfortable and is very easy to talk to - but also makes sure to stay focused on what you want to improve on most. I would definitely recommend Veronica!
