Hi, I'm Dr Joan Ashcroft! I'm a former medical doctor, a native English speaker as well a certified TEFL and PREMIUM OET PREPARATION PROVIDER. I was born and raised in England and graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine, London in 2000.
I have worked in accident and emergency, general medicine, general surgery, gastroenterology, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics and general practice as a family doctor. This experience means I am in a fortunate position to be able to provide real value in my lessons.عني كمعلّم

I successfully passed OET test with my first attempt after having preparation with Joan. The clinical communication Joan taught me was very useful not in OET only, but in PLAB-2 exam too.
Today I had a discussion about medical job interviews and Joan, as usual, gave me a lot of really useful information.
Joan teaches you to have perfect, precise but simple phrasing, which makes your conversations fluent, easily understandable and polite, despite any cultural differences you may have between your native country and the UK.
