Hi I'm Mai Chi (You can also call me Maggie) . I am 33 years old and from Taiwan. I have been living in Vietnam for 9 years, and traveling through more than 40 cities and provinces. I love to learn languages. I can speak Mandarin, Vietnamese, English and some Korean.
Student can book Mandarin or Vietnamese from my lesson.
My father used to work in China so I travel often and I also know how to use Pinyin. I love to learn languages.
嗨～大家好，我是梅枝(可以叫我Maggie)，我今年32歲，我來自台灣。我已經住在越南7年，我目前已經遊歷過將近40個越南的城市與省份。除了越南語言，中文是我的母語。另外還會英文跟一點韓語。除了學習中文你也可以跟我學習越南語!我大部分時間在工廠工作, 熟悉商業郵件、工廠用語。
我爸爸在中國工作, 所以我常去中國旅行也會拼音, 台灣是我的故鄉, 我喜歡研究語音學、口音轉換, 沉靜式學習語言, 先學聽說再學讀寫。عني كمعلّم
I have been teaching Mandarin and Vietnamese for few years, for over 500 hours. I like to use a method called "immersion" to help students to use their target language without stuck in the grammar and pronunciation.
I have experience teaching in groups, one-on-one in both online and offline class settings.
I speak Vietnamese in the southern dialect, as I have lived in the South for about 4 years. I moved to the North in December 2021, so I am proficient in both dialects, but in my classes, I am more comfortable teaching in the southern dialect. 我喜歡用沉浸式語言學習，包含中文或越南語的一對一和團體課。教學時數超過500小時，我的口音比較偏向南越，因為我之前在南越住過四年。但我在2021年12月搬到北越，所以兩邊的口音我都會。只是我比較喜歡南越口音。 دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Vietnamese and Mandarin bilingual teacher with over 500 hrs experiences
With my students I go through books and have conversations. For my students I provide free online materials such as videos, TV shows, articles as well as anything relevant I can find.
I try to tailor my classes for each student to meet their individual learning needs.
In my classes I only use Mandarin or Vietnamese to allow my students to learn more new vocabulary.
我們可以用書本或是對話。我也會提供不同的教材跟資源給不同的程度的學生。

Y'all. I cannot recommend her enough. SHE IS AMAZING. She is one of the best teachers on italki, I think. She is very good at immersion-like lessons even from day one. I have tried this method with other teachers, too and I find many teachers cannot do it, but she is really good at paraphrasing and using only Chinese to converse and get me to understand, but she also doesn't pressure me to output since I am a beginner. I have grown to understand a lot of Chinese because of her , even with only just a few lessons. On top of that, I genuinely enjoy talking to her as a friend. I look forward to our lessons every time and feel zero pressure but I also grow from them. Actually I don't wanna tell everyone how great she is, because then she'll become popular and her lesson prices will go up lmao. I love her !
