Hello, my name is Shinae. I'm pleased to meet you! From your first days with Korean, learning the alphabet and the sounds, I can help you build the Korean language skills to get by and thrive. For more advanced speakers we can work on understanding songs, Korean for business and building more complex sentences. Take a look at each of the class types I offer to see the kind of things my students usually learn! I hope this can be a place for cultural exchanges on various topics and to discover interesting things about Korea.
안녕하세요. 저는 정신혜(Shinae)라고 합니다. 만나서 반갑습니다. 매체가 다양해진 요즘 한국과 한국어에 대한 관심이 늘어남에 따라 한국어 강좌를 열수있게 되어 감사하게 생각합니다. 다양한 주제를 가지고 문화적 교류의 장이 되고, 한국에 대한 흥미가 더 많아지는 계기가 되면 좋겠습니다.عني كمعلّم
I've been a full time, online Korean teacher and tutor since the end of 2021. I'm happy to teach in English or Korean, whatever helps you to achieve your goals faster!
In 2013 I spent the year teaching Korean to Russian / Korean children, it was a great experience and I really enjoy working with both kids and adults.

1. In my classes we work in an informal way so that you can feel free to make mistakes! If you are making mistakes that means that you're stretching what you can do with your Korean and that's great! We can use these mistakes to learn and improve your Korean!

I really look forward to my classes with Shinae! Her teaching style allows you to practice speaking a lot and helps you build up useful real world vocab/grammar. A lot of classes I've taken before have focused on survival Korean so it's a little hard to use in real life conversations, so I've really been enjoying this style of learning.

Shinae is a wonderful Korean teacher! She introduces new vocabulary and grammar in a way that's easy to understand and then put into practice. I feel comfortable speaking Korean with her and have already seen great progress with my speaking and writing skills. Highly recommend!

I just finished a trial lesson with her, and I had a great time! We discussed my goals as a heritage speaker and came up with a plan for our next lessons. Would reccomend!

I had a great class with Shinae. It was my first ever experience with a Korean teacher. I had already studied very little on my own. I knew the very basics and she was able to give a class for my level considering my knowledge. I highly recommend if you are beginner like me.
