Hello everyone,
I am Amanda.
I am from China, born and raised in Beijing, the capital of China.
I am a native Mandarin speaker.
I have been studying, working, and living in the United States and Canada for almost 9 years. I am living in Seattle now, a city on the western side of the United States.
I love traveling, delicious food, drawing, outdoor activities, movies, and making new friends,
I have travelled more than 10 countries and over a hundred of cities, and, of course, sampled the food everywhere.
Every weekend I like to go out and explore the wonderful world.
Sometimes, I cook big dinners to treat family, friends, and myself.عني كمعلّم
I graduated with a master’s degree in education in Canada in 2018.
Since 2010, I have been working and learning in the education field, which I am very passionate about.
I have kindergarten teaching experience, management experience at a community college, and experience teaching Chinese 1 on 1 in America for many years.
I speak English fluently, which allows me to explain grammar details if necessary, but, don’t worry, during most of my classes I will encourage my students to only speak Chinese.
I believe, the more you practice, the faster you will improve,

Amanda is so kind to my daughter and my daughter loves speaking with her. Today we were at a farmer’s market and my 11-year-old daughter was able to converse with a painter there who is from China. He was so impressed and said she should work at the embassy.
