Ciao! My name is Cristiano. I am a community tutor here on italki.
I have a university degree in Political Science and International Relations.
I am fond of learning languages. I am fluent in English.
For one academic year, I was an exchange student at the University of Toronto (Ontario).
In school and college, I have learned French as well (B1 level).
Moreover, I have a passion for Japan and Japanese language . I have been learning it for several years. In 2016, I passed the level N5 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
Podcasting and making YouTube videos are among my biggest passions.
Together with playing violin, reading, gaming and walking outside with my dog Aki 🙂عني كمعلّم
I have plenty of experience teaching Italian on italki. As a language learner myself, I know how exciting, but sometimes challenging, the learning process might be. My classes are designed for all Italian learners who are motivated to speed up their learning experience. We will set up our program according to your needs, including my advice for the best learning materials for you. Next, we will work on your Italian for reaching your goals.
For example:
1. Comprehending reading materials
2. Grammar exercises
3. Speaking practice
4. Writing short sentences in Italian
5. Translation into Italian, using natural expressions
I also provide free topic conversation classes for learners who are already familiar with Italian.
If you have just started from the very basics, you are welcome too!

I’ve been taking lessons with Cristiano for a couple of months and it has been fantastic! He’s found learning materials that are perfect for my level and interests. Each time we meet I feel like I’ve gained valuable information about the language and about Italian culture and life!
