Hi there, my name is Leisha and I speak both Mandarin and Cantonese as my mother languages, also fluent in English and French.
I was majored in Teaching Chinese As Foreign Language at university and got a master degree in Science of Language in France and also related certificates in this area.
I'm a wanderlust, cinephile, avid reader and probably the biggest fan of Stephen Fry on the planet.عني كمعلّم
I used to teach Mandarin, Cantonese and Chinese calligraphy in French private primary school and to advanced learners in Korean companies.
I'm a very patient and joyful person, so just feel free to talk, to practice and to ask all-levelled language questions, to learn through conversation.
I may also encourage you to make as many mistakes as possible so we can fix them together and make progress.

Conversation Course: You will need to tell me your level, your hobbies, your goals before class begins, and I will prepare related materials such as videos and articles for our class;
Standard Course: I will use textbook content with my own materials to teach you pronunciation, grammar, conversation skills, new vocabulary etc. You will improve gradually and surely with me by following the lessons.

Having Cantonese class with Leisha is always one of my most enjoyable time every week. She is very professional, patient and well prepared for every class. I cannot speak any Cantonese on the first class, and now can tell a travel story in Canto, even though slowly, but I'm very proud of the progress I've made from the lessons with her. Would highly recommend for anyone out there looking for a Cantonese teacher! :)

Leisha is an engaging, friendly and lively teacher. She comes up with fun games designed to spark my son's interest. He enjoys his lessons and is making solid gains in his Cantonese. My son is comfortable speaking with Leisha and her gentle corrections and praise hit the sweet spot. We are lucky to have found Leisha for our Cantonese teacher!

Where to begin? Leisha is a wonderful teacher who really takes the time to support her students. She preps suitable materials in advance but offers a very flexible approach to the class. Would highly recommend! I can’t remember how many lessons we’ve had now but no doubt we’ll have many more.
