My name is Giulia, I'm 29 and I'm originally from Italy. After living in Barcelona, I moved to the UK where I've lived for the last five years. My greatest passions are languages and travelling. I've travelled to different countries around the world like India, Morocco, Cuba, Turkey and a lot of places in Europe. I love meeting new people and getting to know different cultures. I'm creative and curious. I often take up new hobbies: I love crafts in general, like sewing and painting, and photography. I like doing yoga and getting lost in nature, going out with friends and be surrounded by people. Ha! I love eating -of course, I'm Italian!- and cooking food from different world cuisines.عني كمعلّم
Three years ago, I qualified as a CELTA teacher and it's probably the best choice I've made in my life. Being really passionate about languages and interested in meeting people from all over the world, made me choose this career and I'm glad I did. I remember when I was a student myself, 10 years ago studying in a language school in London: I was fascinated by the way the teachers would deliver the lessons and the strong influence they had on my language exams when I would go back to university. I knew I wanted to become one of them. Now I'm training to become a DELTA teacher, the Diploma in EFL teaching because I want to advance my knowledge and be a more complete teacher.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I'm a dynamic and easy-going person, always trying to build a rapport with my students and make them engage with the subject. I remember the professionality of the good teachers I've been taught by in the past, so I try to keep that professionalism and mantain good structure within my classes. At the same time, I see no hierarchy between myself and my students; I've been a student myself so I try to talk to my students as I'm one of them. Teaching for me is an exchange of knowledge and this is better done in a relaxed and casual environment, when people absorb more information. I always try to keep the lessons interesting and to do so, I tailor them to the students' predilections and needs.الشهادات
