I was born and raised in England.
I have a neutral, standard British accent.
I am a Psychology graduate and I have a teaching certificate.
I was an ESL teacher at an online school called “Whales English.” I taught children phonics and basic sentence structures through music, animation, and games.عني كمعلّم
I know how it feels to understand a language but not be able to speak as quickly as a native speaker; I’m also learning a foreign language on italki. I will give you the time you need to express yourself. I believe every student is different so I will ask you why you are learning English and how I can best support you.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Adults:
• I am very strict about correcting grammar and pronunciation mistakes. I like to send my students notes after the class explaining their strengths and what they can improve on.
• I can provide vocabulary lists with example sentences before our class and then start a discussion in class with this new vocabulary OR we can simply have a spontaneous conversation.
Children:
• I am friendly and bubbly. I put a huge emphasis on pronunciation because I believe childhood is the prime time for children to naturally learn intonation and phonics. I know that correcting little mistakes now will save them a lot of trouble when they are older and speak more advanced English.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس
