Ayman Fawy

Ayman helped me to understand some new concepts in regards to fasting. He also helped me to understand a podcast I listened to and had a lot of questions about. I always learn new things when talking to Ayman and I really appreciate when he explains the concept to me and how to use it properly in Arabic.

Ayman helped me to understand some of the cultural context of Ramadan celebrations in Egypt and some of the common expressions used. It was helpful and I now know what is appropriate for a Ramadan greeting.

Ayman helped me to learn a new tense in Egyptian Arabic today, the future continuous or future progressive. It was very helpful. He helped me by going over examples for all the different personal pronouns and even the direct object pronouns. This was super helpful. He also answered some questions I had while doing my own study this week. He is a very good teacher and is always patient with me when I have questions or need more clarification. I can't wait to use what I've learned next and continue to learn more with him.

Ayman helps me every time to understand new concepts and cultural nuances of Egypt. He is very patient in speaking to me in Arabic and even when I don't understand he explains things in Arabic as much as possible before anything. I appreciate that so much as I need to speak in Arabic a lot to get better. Today he taught me about cultural differences between the US and Egypt in regards to spending habits and tolerance to different types of weather. It was a very good lesson and I am going to diligently study the new words and phrases he taught me so I can continue to improve my Arabic.

Ayman helped me to converse more fluently by using some new phrases and words associated with taking classes and teaching and having personalized conversations. I have used the new phrases he taught in our last lesson and lot in practice this week and it's been helping me tremendously. I can't wait to study and memorize these new concepts that he taught me today so I can keep getting better at speaking Arabic.

Ayman helped me to learn so many new words in regards to my teaching job so it was very personal and I'm so glad I can describe these things now in Egyptian Arabic. I always look forward to our conversations!
