E aí, pessoal! Tudo bem? Me chamo Thaís Galvão, tenho 30 anos e sou carioca. Moro aqui no Rio de Janeiro, cidade alegre e de altas temperaturas no verão. Sou atriz, locutora e também estudei jornalismo por 2 anos e meio. E aqui estou eu para mais uma aventura no universo da comunicação: te ajudar a falar português. Vamos praticar? I have been student of Thais for over 3 years. In that time from hesitating to speak it is now at stage where portuguese conversations dominate. Rather than tell you exact answers, Thais encourages you to mine your own memory in order to bring the necessary vocabulary to construct the sentences so you do not have to resort to English or google translate.

Thaís is an excellent Portuguese teacher. The classes are very practical and focused on real conversation, not just grammar. She explains things clearly, corrects pronunciation without interrupting the flow, and adapts the lessons to what you actually need. I started speaking much more confidently in a short time and feel comfortable using Portuguese in real situations. I’d highly recommend her to anyone who wants to actually speak Portuguese, not just study it.
