Hi there! I'm Trina, and I'm from the Philippines. As a registered teacher in my country, I've been helping English learners succeed for 15 years.
I've taught English to speakers of other languages across ages and levels.
University level students = approx. 1800 teaching hours
Adult (skilled and professional) = approx. 6000 teaching hours

In my lessons, you will experience at least 3 stages.
Stage 1: Warm-up
- Reacting and describing a short video, picture, or a short article
- Having short discussion questions
Stage 2: Main Lesson
- Watching a video or reading an article/ dialogue (main material)
- Comprehension questions
- Vocabulary building
- Short grammar points (if necessary)
Stage 3: Post Activity
- Challenge activity (depending on your language goal)
o Dialogue practice + use of target vocabulary item
o Long-turn speaking (e.g., storytelling) + use of target vocabulary item

One memorable lesson was on IELTS Speaking Part 3. The question is “Should people have extravagant weddings?”
At first, I thought the answer was obvious—no, it’s wasteful. But Trina showed me there’s so much more to consider. She explored the cultural, religious, and business angles, even touching on personal freedom and choices. Her ability to dig deeper truly set her apart.
For me, she’s worth every penny, and honestly, she deserves more than what I pay for.
