I have worked with Mehmet for almost 5 or 6 years now and am very happy to continue working with him. Mehmet makes you feel very comfortable in every lesson and corrects mistakes without making you feel bad about it. His lesson documents are so easy to use and understand. I have looked for teachers of other languages, trying to find someone who teaches similar to Mehmet but have been unable to. I really appreciate his repetition of topics and concepts as well as the amount of homework and other forms of practice we use in class, as I am a learner who really needs practice and repetition.

I’ve been learning Turkish for about two years, since I moved to Istanbul to my husband who lives here. And Mehmet was the first teacher I tried to study Turkish with. I was impressed from the beginning of how well-organized, interesting and useful our lessons were. I myself am a rather responsible and accurate person, and what I liked a lot was that Mehmet was the same - always on time, always well-prepared, knowledgeable, and always shining with great energy. The materials were always very logical and set at a suitable pace, designed progressively as my level was going up. Because I’ve gradually seen the progress, I felt very motivated to study more and more. I loved both our classes and homeworks as well - because they were designed well to support what we learned, and helped memorize and repeat the information. What also was very valuable is that Mehmet was easily reached in between the classes, he would always answer my questions. For all of it I’m truly grateful.

Mehmet is a great teacher. During our conversations, he always makes sure I understand any new words that come up and takes the time to explain them clearly. He keeps the conversation natural while still making it a really helpful learning experience.

If you want to learn Turkish fast; cover all language concepts in a concise, fun, organized and efficient way, look no further. Mehmet's classes are always productive, well paced and he prepares alot of excellent material for each class. The material will take you from A1 all the way to C2 and more...Most importantly, Mehmet is patient, encouraging and fun and he will tailor your classes to suit your language needs and pace! I've been learning with Mehmet for over 1.5 years and plan to continue for as long as he teaches on italki :)

I have been learning Turkish with Mehmet for a long time. He has always adjusted the lessons to my needs and introduced helpful methods, such as Quizlet, to help me review vocabulary. My lesson schedule often changes because of work, but Mehmet always helps me keep a steady learning pace.
