Hello! I’m Alexandra, and for the past 10 years, I’ve been teaching Turkish and Russian as a foreign language (РКИ) to students from 4 continents.
I’ve worked with over 100 students from Turkey, the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland, Iraq, Japan, Corea, Peru, Brazil, the USA, and other countries.
I’m a certified specialist and an official TRKI (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language) tester. I studied and taught at universities in Turkey, Russia, and Peru.
I’m also a certified language coach and incorporate elements of psychology into my teaching approach to make learning as comfortable as possible for students aged 11 to 111.عني كمعلّم
My students know:
• Where to find buckwheat in Turkey (and why condensed milk is easily found as "milk jam").
• How to recognize a "Russian smile."
• Why "tomorrow" (yarın) in Turkish desn’t always mean "tomorrow."
• What to expect on their exam, as I simulate test conditions and evaluate answers the way official examiners do.
• What to say at the hospital and how to pass a driver’s test — saving a year of time and helping my students adapt to a new culture faster. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons include:
• Homework review
• A personalized study plan (developed and adjusted together with the student)
• Custom materials prepared for each student
• Discussions on important topics, listening to news, and analyzing social ads
My students say they enjoy speaking with me about everyday things in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. They appreciate my experience, knowledge in various fields (from slang to the price of oranges), and the support I provide in class.

Graças à professora Alexandra e sua ajuda nas aulas eu passei no exame torfl A2! Estava ruim em gramática e redação e ela me ajudou bastante, com testes de gramática, redações, dicas, simulações de conversação, curiosidades, etc. Agradeço muito, ano que vem volto para ter mais aulas :)

Alexandra is an incredible teacher, she is always encouraging, understanding, positive and also very important - realistic about capacity in life when it comes to keeping up with languages studies outside of lessons. I cannot recommend her more
