Hi! My name is Katia and I love languages. That is why I am on italki. As a teacher I have a strong background in languages. Beside the fact that I speak two modern languages (English and German) fluently I did study ancient languages. On italki I've chosen to teach my mother tongues - Belarusian and Russian. That is my passion. If you are sincerely interested in learning and are searching for friendly assistance, I am more than happy to help you in a very friendly, professional and affordable way. I love to teach my native languages because I find it being very rewarding. I’ve started to give lessons years ago. Since then I’ve discovered a number of particularities in my mother languages I’d never paid attention to as a native speaker. Knowing that Slavic languages can be hard to learn, I try to help my students learn it more efficiently through an understanding of vocabulary and grammar. As a teacher I am flexible and can meet your needs and requirements. We can have discussions and debates, work on broadening areas of vocabulary or expand on aspects of grammar that you may be concerned with.

I offer friendly and informal conversation-based tutoring and also grammar oriented classes.
We can talk about the topics that interest you, or we can exercise something in particular that you need to practice. I can also help you with your reading and writing.
I offer classes for both very beginners and more advanced students.
