Marly is truly the best at play-based Spanish lessons, while also making sure that my almost 8-year old is constantly reviewing grammar and learning new vocabulary, without realizing it. For the hardcore grammar exercises, like conjugations, Marly sends a worksheet to do as homework. She is truly a treasure in my daughter's life, and my daughter is always happy with her lessons, even if they are on the weekend or after a long day of other activities, since Marly is up-beat, positive, and very fast-paced (in a good way).

There are a lot of good teachers on italki but Marly is great! She brings a passion for teaching that really makes your language learning journey an enjoyable experience. I've always been a big fan of games and Marly's classes are one of the highlights of my day because we always play a game like bingo or trivia in Spanish and it really helps you learn the material more quickly. She's always very patient and takes the time to explain things in greater detail if you need it. With a teacher like Marly you will be well on your way to achieving fluency before you know it.

Thank you for putting so much time and thought into each lesson plan! My daughter just thinks she is having fun with her friend Marly...you make learning conversation, and even textbook grammar so fun for her! You are so great with kids, and such a talented teacher to be able to pack so much learning into a lesson, and still get an 8 year old to laugh and giggle the whole time!
