Hi everyone! My name is Hugo, I'm from Spain and love teaching, travelling, meeting new people and learning about them in different situations. I consider myself an optimistic, empathetic, adaptable and dynamic person.
After my studies in engineering and teaching, and during my trips and experiences around the world, I found my two passions: teaching and language. I gained lots of experience in the process of learning language, first Portuguese in Portugal, then in Brazil, after that English in Canada, with a little French along the way. It was during these travels that I began teaching, and have now decided to settle down, focus and develop my teaching skills.عني كمعلّم
My knowledge comes mainly from own experience as a student, from my travels, and finally from all the pedagogic courses and seminars I have attended, books I've read and hands-on teaching experience I've acquired, with students from many different countries, ages, cultures and levels. These past 8 years I taught mainly Spanish and Portuguese, and have evolved as a teacher and as an person. Because I do not believe in separating personal life from professional life, as a teacher I like to be myself, and want my students to feel they can too. I feel joy in teaching and want to inspire the same joy in my students, and I think it's because of this that I'm able to adapt my lessons to everyone.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons are based on conversation and the practical aspects of the language. Teaching exists when someone learns, so my goal is to motivate my students, always, as I don't believe in learning without motivation. The student is the main character of the lesson and my job is to create context and activities adapted to each student and try to go further, even grammar and vocabulary can be interesting to the student when approached correctly. I make the most of resources like music, films, games and dynamic activities, using my understanding of each individual student to adapt the lesson to their needs.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Solicité la clase con Hugo para que me ayudara en mi proceso de aprendizaje de gallego y portugués, y las semejanzas y diferencias con el español que en mi caso, es mi lengua nativa. Se ve que domina totalmente esos tres idiomas, que tiene mucha experiencia y que hace las clases muy amenas y divertidas. Tiene materiales muy buenos, adaptados y por encima de todo, se ve que ama su trabajo y que se implica al máximo. Parece que la gramática es su fuerte y los conocimientos culturales también es algo que destacaría. Muchas gracias!
