❄️ I was born Tomsk, Russia, but I've been living in the Czech Republic for 9 years.
✈️ I love traveling. I have been to 20 countries in Europe and I hope to visit many more in the future.
🔭 I'm an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer. My husband gave me a telescope for my birthday and we try to get out there every clear night to watch star clusters, galaxies, and nebulae.
🌍I speak 4 languages: Russian, English, Czech, and French.
🎚️I love teaching A2-B1 students, and I also really enjoy working with B2-C2s
📑I'm really into the methodology of language teaching. In my free time, I try to learn as much as I can about teaching and look for ways of improving my classes.

The atmosphere of my classes is very friendly and welcoming. You can always reach out to me after the class to ask questions, or to get additional homework.
I look for students who are really passionate about language learning and willing to put in time and effort.

I like giving my students a lot of time to speak and make mistakes. I use materials developed by Oxford, Cambridge, and National Geographic, and at the same time I use many authentic resources, such as videos, songs, podcasts, films and TV series. Private English TutorI have been teaching English to adults since 2014 and since then gained valuable experience in private tutoring. My students are all from different backgrounds and different language levels: from Beginner to Advanced. I have learned to use communicative approach in my teaching using relevant Oxford and Cambridge materials and handouts.

Our first lesson with Elena went great. She let me speak and then corrected all my mistakes and helped me understand some aspects of Russian grammar. She is patient, encouraging and professional. Looking forward to our next lesson:)
