Hello! I’m Julia, an Italian certified tutor living in Edinburgh, Scotland. I’ve been studying European languages for a number of years (with varying degrees of success), but recently I’ve been focusing on Japanese and Mandarin Chinese.　初めまして！私はジュリアと申します、イタリア人です。どうぞ夜しくお願いします！大家好！我叫Julia，我是一名意大利人。认识你我很高心！ As a tutor I see myself as enthusiastic, patient and dedicated. I'm 100% committed to the progress of my students and I always pay attention to their learning goals and expectations. Throughout the years I've developed my personal learning and teaching methodology based on the techniques I've acquired as a tutor and the experience I've gained as a long-term language learner. Our lessons together will be tailored to your own needs and requirements. For this purpose, I’ll get in touch beforehand so we can briefly discuss what your needs are and what you expect to achieve with our lessons together. In my classes I try to focus on creating a sound grammatical foundation for my students, as a solid grammar knowledge is essential regardless of whether your focus is reading, writing or speaking. We will be building this foundation lesson after lesson, adapting to your learning pace and style. I also place strong emphasis on vocabulary acquisition and sentence formation as a way of creating a set of essential phrases that will help you express yourself in a wide range of situations.
