Hello! My name is Clark. I come from the USA (Tennessee). I've been living in France for three years now.
I have a Bachelor's degree in English : Creative writing, and a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I have five years of experience teaching all levels of English, both online and in person.
I also have a C2 certification in French and a Master's degree in French and Francophone studies from the University of Toulouse 2.
My favorite thing to do is write, play, and listen to music. I love the stage, movies, making art, and reading. I also really like baseball, riding bicycles, running, and exploring all kinds of places on foot. I love to laugh!عني كمعلّم
As a teacher, I adapt to your needs. I have experience teaching all ages, from ages 4 to 70. I am a dad, so I have developed a lot of patience with teaching children. I have also taught literacy to elderly people, business English in a classroom setting, and conversation lessons.

In English conversation, I try to get my students to the point where they forget about speaking a foreign language and enter the freedom with which they speak their primary language. I take note of the more important corrections, but try not to let corrections disturb the flow of conversation. I like to use articles to get things flowing. I also love to use creative writing in my classes.
With French beginners, we go more by the book, learning the basics of pronunciation and grammar and the essential expressions you need. My teaching adapts to your needs--if you have a quick timeline, we'll go over the most essential elements. If you have more time, we can go through things in more detail.الشهادات
120-hour TEFL certificate - MyTEFL.com - 2018This is a 120-hour course which prepared me for Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
After taking the course, I was hired to proofread and edit the course materials themselves.
