David Peter

Well, what can I say about David... I started taking lessons with him about six months ago, and have since completed 25 lessons so far. David is, without a doubt, a great teacher, and it's plain to see that he's a dedicated and passionate Maestro who works exceptionally hard at his craft. From the logical way he structures his course to the ease with which he enables you to speak, understand, and converse in Spanish - David is a remarkably talented teacher. David has a unique way of facilitating learning, in such a way that you never feel you are being "taught." Every class is an enjoyable experience, and I always look forward to our sessions. Having participated in group lessons, studied with various other teachers, both in person and online - I can honestly say that David is by far the best teacher I've ever had. Our classes are always filled with laughter, and my Spanish has improved substantially under his guidance. Muchas gracias, David - ¡hasta la próxima!

I really enjoy learning with David. He does a great job of balancing prepared topics that further my understanding of Spanish, while also being flexible enough to diverge from this and practice conversation about culture and media. He's incredibly responsive and flexible with scheduling. David's passion for his work is very clear and increases my confidence and desire to keep learning, even if it means getting up at 5:30AM to do so!

I’ve just had my first lesson with David and immediately booked my second. He’s warm, easy to talk to, and great to get along with—plus, he brings some fun to the class too. If you’re looking for a Spanish teacher, you’ve found one.

Acabo de tomar mi décima clase con David y puedo decir que es un muy buen profesor. Me alegro de haberlo encontrado en italki. Las clases me ayudan mucho y al mismo tiempo son muy divertidas y variadas. Tiene muchos materiales con ejercicios que podemos hacer durante la clase, pero con frecuencia tenemos muy buenas conversaciones sobre temas diferentes. Tiene un gran interés en todo lo que digo. Muchas veces no sé como se dice alguna cosa en español, pero siempre me ayuda a decir las cosas que quiero decir y entonces me ayuda a hablar sobre cualquier tema. Creo que David es un profesor que realmente disfruta su trabajo. Muchas gracias, David.

David is a pro with lots of experience. Worth the cost.

I have been working with David for the past month on a weekly basis. In this time my Spanish has improved greatly week on week. David has great a teaching method and his lessons are very enjoyable. I look forward to them every week. Can’t recommend him enough.
