Hello! I’m Morwenna, and I'm from Bath, UK. I'm fluent in Spanish and learning Portuguese and Catalan. I live in Spain and I love it! I also enjoy reading, yoga and travelling. I have a passion for languages and learning which I love to share! I have a degree in English Literature and Spanish, a Masters in Intercultural Communication, Translation and Interpretation in the Public Services and I have a PhD about communication between migrant workers - as you can see my focus and interest has been bilingualism for a long time now!

I hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification and have more than eight years of experience teaching English as a foreign language. I have taught students from all over the world.
I worked as a teacher in two primary schools and a university in Spain and have also taught many private English and Spanish classes.
I am a supportive, engaging, and friendly teacher - as my reviews show! Seeing students build in confidence and enjoy learning is my motivation to teach!

I can help more advanced students prepare for exams or lead conversation classes on a range of topics of interest to the student. I am also happy to teach younger students through games, songs and other fun activities.
I set homework if you request it, however I do expect all students to try to immerse themselves in the language whenever they can- through books, films, music etc.
Any requests? Just ask! I tailor the classes to meet the student's needs.

Kids English Language Teacher - DaDaABC - 2018After completing my ESOL certificate and work experience in a primary school in Spain (2013-2014) I started to work for DaDaABC. This is a company that only teaches children. I therefore have extensive experience teaching English to kids. See attached.

Public Service Translation - University of Alcalá, Spain - 2017This master´s degree trained me to be a public service interpreter. I also have certificated from the Chartered Institute of Linguists showing I passed the exams in translating in the context of health. I did modules specialized in medical translation and interpretation and have worked as an interpreter in hospitals. I am therefore able to teach English to medical professionals because I have the vocabulary and contextual knowledge required.
