Hi! I’m Silvia from Colombia. I've helped Spanish students in formal courses (like Instituto Cervantes and others from B1 level) feel confident and secure by finally understanding the topics often skipped in class. As a language learner myself, I know the challenges you face and I’ll guide you step by step so you can communicate with clarity and confidence.عني كمعلّم
In my lessons I combine patience, encouragement and a sense of humor to make learning Spanish a positive and enjoyable experience. My goal is for you to feel comfortable and confident at all times, especially if you’re already in a formal course and need extra support to truly understand the topics that often get skipped in class.
I believe mistakes are your best teachers. In my classes, you can make as many as you want, because every mistake is simply another step toward real progress. If you’re already in a formal Spanish course (like Instituto Cervantes or similar from B1 level), we won’t start from zero. Instead, we’ll review and clarify the parts you didn’t fully understand in class. We can use your own textbooks, audios and materials from your course so the learning feels seamless and relevant. As I progress, learning is becoming increasingly more difficult. I find myself getting frustrated. Silvia is so attentive. She immediately notices my frustration and dials down the lesson to digestible segments and then builds me up to the goal level. I’m beyond happy with Silvia as my professor. She is patient and intelligent and I am thankful for her. 💪🏼

Silvia is a great teacher! She understands how to teach and does very well at it. She explains things in great detail and is a super good communicator. Our lesson was amazing and she taught me so much in our conversation. 10/10. Will be continuing to practice with her and I recommend her for anyone trying to learn Spanish. She’s a great teacher!

Sylvia makes a very interactive environment. Walking you through a series of conversations challenging your grammar and vocabulary. She has a very structured approach with consistent at home study assignments with reviews in following classes.

Silvia is a very patient and caring person. Since the first lesson we tried crosstalk and she is doing a good job at it. She tries to keep the conversation going when I'm stuck and tries to look for creative ways to introduce more topics or explanations for some words or phrases in Spanish.
