My name is Silvia, I'm from Colombia and my native language is Spanish. I love languages and I would love to learn many more. I would be happy to help you in your process of learning this beautiful language since I have experience teaching Spanish virtually in a fun and engaging environment. I’ve had the chance to travel to several countries, and I love traveling, meeting new people, and getting to know different cultures. For me, every opportunity should be taken full advantage of... Let's try to have fun, laugh and smile to make learning more enjoyable and for my students to feel comfortable at all times. I am very patient and I will try to help you at all times. As a tip, I tell you that making mistakes is very normal. When you are learning a language this is the most common thing. In our conversations I will explain the new words in context so you can remember it easily. My method is more casual, spontaneous, repeating words or phrases as many times as necessary. Silvia is a great teacher! She understands how to teach and does very well at it. She explains things in great detail and is a super good communicator. Our lesson was amazing and she taught me so much in our conversation. 10/10. Will be continuing to practice with her and I recommend her for anyone trying to learn Spanish. She’s a great teacher!

Un día vi un video sobre Esmeralda Castillo y me llamó mucho la atención su historia. Quería saber más sobre lo que pasó con ella, así que en clase discutimos la noticia. Silvia me ayudó mucho, leímos juntas y también charlamos sobre el caso. Me pareció muy interesante y triste al mismo tiempo. Aprendí más vocabulario y también cómo expresar mis ideas sobre temas serios en español.
